What's New?
That everyone who thirsteth for the truth may obtain it, these publications are, as a Christian service, provided without charge. They levy but one exaction: the soul's obligation to itself to prove all things and hold fast to that which is good. The only strings attached to this free proffer are the golden strands of Eden and the crimson cords of Calvary - the ties that bind.

“If after a time the Lord says, Move away from Washington, we are to move....When the Lord tells us to move, we are to obey, however inconvenient and inconsistent such a command may seem to us to be.”

Ellen G. White
Review & Herald, Aug. 11, 1903

"...Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of the Lord of hosts the holy mountain....Thus saith the Lord of hosts; Behold, I will save my people.... And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem...." Zech. 8:3, 7, 8.

"And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, the Lord of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles." Zech. 14:16.

"For, lo, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, saith the Lord: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it...and the city shall be builded upon her own the latter days ye shall consider it." Jer. 30:3, 18, 24.

Everyone must pray for our Brethren at the Headquarters of the work in Takoma Park, Washington, DC. The warning of the Angel (Rev. 18:1, 2) is, that soon no one will be permitted to buy or sell in Takoma Park without receiving the mark of the beast which is enforced by the image beast of Rev. 13:11-18. Therefore, the admonition to Headquarters in Takoma Park is for General Conference to make preparation to move before they are forced to either flee (Isa. 30:15, 16) or receive the mark of the beast. Failure to act promptly will not only jeopardize their own chances of salvation, but will risk the safety of the whole church. Every true-hearted Seventh-day Adventist, Davidian and Branch Seventh-day Adventist should agitate the Brethren concerning this very serious matter, that they may be alerted "for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant whom the Lord shall call." Joel 2:32. Do not fail to read God's definite promise to His people for the last days: Jer. 23:20, 24:4-7; Isa. 10:17, 20-22, 11:12.

Ellen G. White declares concerning God's people: "That which God purposed to do for the world through the Israel, the chosen nation, He will finally accomplish through His church on earth today. Never has the Lord been without true representation on this earth who have made His interests their own. These witnesses for God are numbered among spiritual Israel, and to them will be fulfilled all the covenant promises made by Jehovah to His ancient people." – Prophets and Kings, p. 713, 714.

"And he...shall assemble the outcasts of Israel (S.D.A. and all Sabbathkeeping ten tribes – Rev. 12:17), and gather together the dispersed of Judah (Judah and Benjamin, two tribes – Rom. 11:26-34) from the four corners of the earth (and the righteous of all nations)." Isa. 11:12.

"For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land....And ye shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers....I the Lord have spoken it, and I will do it." Eze. 36:24, 28, 36.

"But in the last days it shall come to pass...the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem." Mic. 4:1, 2.

"In the time of the end, every divine institution is to be restored." Prophets and Kings – The Captivity and Restoration of Israel, p. 678.

"Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord." Mal. 4:5.

"...Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things." Matt. 17:11.

"...Jesus Christ...Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began." Acts 3:20, 21.

In 70 A.D. the temple was destroyed by the Roman armies. So far, it has never been restored. However, the Scriptures tell us that it is to be rebuilt.

"After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord..." Acts 15:16, 17.

Who is to build this temple? "Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord." Zech. 6:12.

"Zechariah's vision of Joshua and the Angel (The Branch) applies with peculiar force to the experience of God's people in the closing up of the great day of atonement (the Judgment of the Loving)." – Testimonies for the Church, Vol. 5, p. 472.

"For the first time in the history of Zionist colonization, an organized Christian group has been granted official status in Israel as recognized immigrants and land settlers, with all the rights of material and moral aid....five families of Seventh-day Adventists...immigrated to Israel to till the land..." – The Ministry, September 1960.

This year, 1977, further steps have been made in clearing away the obstacles so that God's people can return to the land of Canaan. Are you interested in helping to rebuild the temple? This requires a major step of faith on the part of all Seventh-day Adventists. The Lord has told us to move, however inconvenient. Are you ready? Remember, the Sunday blue laws are fast approaching.

"What a solemn time we have come to...Do you realize that if you do not now make an effort to put your name in the book, it may be forever too late?...Now is the time to act. Now is the day of salvation brought to you. Today Inspiration pleads; if you hear His voice harden not your hearts. Only those who heed the revealed Word of God will find deliverance and peace,--none others will." – Timely Greetings, Vol. 2, No. 7, p. 10, 11.
